Total undertook a discovery exercise along with design, pilot and testing, then handled migration of workloads to the new infrastructure. Solution
For every classroom, Total has installed a 70-inch Dell interactive LED screen, and an Ergotron iPad storage unit. The school has 150 iPads, and every classroom and office has Dell desktop or laptop PCs – all supplied pre-configured by Total.
Total provided HP copiers and printers, and upgraded the school’s phone system, which now includes both conventional lines and VoIP. For the new second site, Total handled all data cabling.
Outcome
We saved over £30,000, and that’s serious money,” says Richard Slade, Head Teacher. “There’s no surprises, no backend fees – Total was significantly cheaper than everybody else for the same quality solution.”
According to Richard, the most important benefit was Total’s ability to handle the entire solution. He said, "They’ve gone from the very first conversation, right the way through to technical and physical implementation across the entire campus."
