Total helped The Howard De Walden Estate transform it's IT and move to light touch as-a-Service delivery, utilising Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and HP Device-as-a-Service. Total provided the licences including Mimecast security as well as managing the Azure servers (24/7 monitoring) and their backup use of Azure Site Recovery. Total also supported The Howard De Walden estate with hardware requirements such as switches, firewalls, UPS and much more.

The Estate owns and manages 92 acres of Marylebone in central London, including Marylebone High Street and the Harley Street Medical Area. The business is firmly rooted in the local community and is fully committed to a long-term investment strategy, with a portfolio mix of five key sectors: residential, office, medical, retail and education.

Challenge

The Initial project was the migration of 120 users to Office 365 and 23 servers to Microsoft Azure. This process required the right people and the correct processes which Total delivered. Total also supported The Howard De Walden estate with hardware requirements such as switches, firewalls, UPS and much more.

Solution

Total helped to move the estate from an on premise network system to the Azura cloud saving Howard de Walden Estate's running costs whilst providing a more modern system. We also supported the move from exchange on the local system to the new office 365 cloud system again modernizing their businesses set up. Lastly we managed the delivery of moving to device as a service laptop solution rather than the outdated systems that where in place at the time.  

Outcome

There was a positive outcome from this service which the estate is still benefiting from today. We provided our managed services which allowed the in-house IT team at the estate to focus on what really matters whilst we managed the project. Total provided a seamless service with technical excellence which was delivered on time and showed our client the level of service we provide.
