WORKSHOP: Moving backup & DR to Azure

What's it about?

Cloud platforms offer high levels of reliability, security and scalability. But, while it’s too soon for most organisations to move their entire infrastructure to the cloud many are leveraging cloud for secondary workloads – such as backup, archive and disaster recovery (DR).

Microsoft Azure Backup is cloud based backup, archive and DR that combines an integrated solution for on or off premise, physical or virtual servers, from a trusted provider.

Held in conjunction with Microsoft, this interactive workshop will help you evaluate the suitability of Microsoft Azure Backup for your organisation’s needs – in just a single morning.

Who's it for?

If you’re responsible for your organisation’s backup, archive and DR strategy (Infrastructure Manager/Architect, IT Manager/Head/Director or CIO) then this event is for you.

Why should I attend?

This roundtable workshop, with a small group (c10) and content tailored to attendee concerns is designed to help you evaluate Azure Backup.

Attendees will:

  • hear how Azure backup works

  • see key aspects demonstrated
  • understand the pricing model
  • leave with a clear path forward
  • plus network with other IT leaders over lunch.
