Total is pleased to announce that it has made a five-figure donation to its chosen charity for the year, Cransley Hospice Trust.
“Many of us at Total feel a connection with the hospice’s work – they are an excellent local charity that provides an invaluable service to support patients, families and carers when someone has a life limiting illness,” said Aidan Groom, Managing Director at Total. “I’m delighted that we’re able to make a worthwhile contribution to their work.”
“We're incredibly grateful for the generous donation from Total Computers, which is a sizable contribution towards the £1.4 million that we need to raise this year. It is thanks to donations such as this that Cransley Hospice is able to continue providing end of life care to patients in our community when they need it most,” said Wendy Reason, Director of Income Generation at Cransley Hospice Trust. “This substantial donation will have a real impact on our ability to provide specialist nursing care for our patients with more complex needs in our hospice and through our Hospice at Home service.”
Located in Kettering, near to Total’s head office, Cransley Hospice Trust is the charity that funds hospice care for the north of Northamptonshire. Hospice care is provided at the Cransley Hospice Inpatient Unit or in the patient’s home, in partnership with Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.
The donation follows another that Total made to Cransley Hospice Trust in 2018. It will fund 22 nights’ care in the Hospice, or 200 visits from a Registered Nurse to care for a patient in their own home.
