Total has become a Cisco Premier Certified Partner, strengthening its relationship with Cisco and increasing the benefits it can offer its customers, as part of its ongoing investment in key vendor relationships.
“We’re delighted that Total have invested in the additional resources to become a Cisco Premier Certified Partner,” comments Mike Smith, Regional Channel Manager at Cisco Systems Inc.
Cisco Premier Certified Partners are differentiated from Select Partners though their technical skills and direct relationship with Cisco.
“Cisco Premier Certified Partner status underlines Total’s ability to deliver data centre, hybrid and cloud infrastructure solutions,” explains Simon Ashall, Head of Vendor Management at Total.
“As a Premier Certified Partner, we have a much stronger relationship with Cisco, including direct access to their extensive technical resources, and will be working hard to develop this relationship for the benefit of our customers,” adds Simon Ashall. He continues, “It has enabled us to become a certified agent in Cisco’s Global Partner Network, so we can rapidly supply Cisco products to customers in-country throughout the world, as well as giving us access to several programmes that will benefit our public sector customers.”
The achievement of Cisco Premier Certified Partner status is part of a planned programme of investment in Total’s vendor accreditations, which this year has seen the retention of its Dell-EMC Platinum Partner accreditation, award of HP Inc Platinum Partner and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Gold Partner status and becoming one of Lenovo’s first specialist education partners.
