Microsoft has recognised Total’s cloud capabilities with the award of two ‘gold’ partner competencies, placing Total within the top 1% of Microsoft partners. The Cloud Productivity and Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions competencies evidence Total’s expertise and experience deploying the Office 365 suite of products.
Microsoft has around 35,000 partners in the UK alone, and over half a million worldwide, and competencies enable partners to both demonstrate their capabilities and differentiate themselves from each other.
“By achieving a gold competency, partners have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment to the latest Microsoft technology. These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top 1 percent of our partner ecosystem,” explains Phil Sorgen, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp.
The Cloud Productivity competency relates to the deployment of Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Online and Yammer. To achieve this Total had to demonstrate experience with in excess of 4,000 users, technical expertise with suitably certified technical staff, and at least five customer validations from recent deployments. To achieve the Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions competency Total needed to fulfil a similar set of criteria but with the focus on the needs of organisations with fewer than a thousand employees or 500 PCs.
“Total is now amongst Microsoft’s top 20 cloud partners for small and medium sized businesses. Our double ‘gold’ provides customers of all sizes with the peace of mind that they’re working with a truly accomplished Microsoft cloud partner,” comments Simon Ashall, Head of Vendor Management at Total.
