Total Computer Networks today announced record results for the financial year ended 31 December 2014, with turnover of £44.1m and an operating profit of £1.6m. The Company attributes its growth to a combination of significant new contracts, sales expansion and its ability to deliver a range of essential IT services in-house.
Turnover for the 12 month period ended 31 December 2014 increased 44% to £44.1m (2013: £30.7m), to provide a seventh consecutive year of growth.
“2014 was another fantastic year for Total and it is the result of a lot of great work by a lot of great people,” comments Aidan Groom, Joint Managing Director of Total Computer Networks. He continues, “2014 saw some significant new contract wins, the opening of a London office plus a sizeable increase in the sales team and I think our turnover shows that we’ve created an environment in which good sales people can really flourish. Added to that we’ve brought some highly skilled consultants into the business enabling us to offer key technology services in-house.”
Operating profit increased by 50% to £1.56m (2013: £1.04m). Aidan explains, “Two years ago we introduced a new ERP system into the business which is now driving significant efficiencies, in 2014 we really began to see the true ROI of that implementation.”
“We expect 2015 to be another record year and are looking to exceed £50m turnover,” notes Aidan. “We have already opened a new office in Glasgow and are looking to expand our sales team nationally. Our service capabilities will continue to grow and we plan to expand service delivery internationally.”
