Total has been selected as one of only two NetApp partners in the UK to trial new NetApp Express Pack storage bundles. The bundles are intended to provide simpler, faster, discounted pricing for validated configurations and will cover the majority of common requirements.
NetApp has become one of the dominant names in storage on the back of its excellent storage management software and is ranked amongst the leaders in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for General-Purpose Disk Arrays. Now in response to market feedback, NetApp is looking to streamline the product configuration and quotation process with NetApp Express Pack bundles.
“The Express Pack bundles mean that we can rapidly access a validated configuration, that’s already aggressively priced, and this can only be good news for our customers,” explains Simon Ashall, Head of Vendor Management at Total. He continues, “NetApp tell me that these Express Pack bundles will cover 80% of customer requirements and additional disks, trays, controllers, licences etc can be added, as required, at the same discount as the rest of the bundle.”
Total has been selected, by specialist distributor Hammer and NetApp, as one of only two UK partners to trial the new NetApp Express Packs.
“Naturally, we’re delighted to be one of only two partners picked to trial these storage bundles,” comments Simon. “Not only is it validation of our standing in the market, but it’s great that Total’s customers will benefit from the quicker turnaround and aggressive pricing that these NetApp Express Packs bring, ahead of everyone else.”
