Core Solutions of Microsoft Exchange Server 2013

This course provides delegates with guidelines, best practices and considerations to help optimise a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 deployment. It focuses on providing the knowledge and skills required to plan, install and manage the mailbox role, client access, transport and Exchange infrastructure.

Who's it for?

This course is designed for experienced system administrators or analysts that wish to develop the specialist knowledge to be an enterprise-level messaging administrator. It is also suitable preparation for those wishing to take the certification examination 70-341: Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, Core Solutions.

Key objectives

After attending this course a delegate will be able to:

Although not required to have any previous experience of Exchange, delegates must have:

  • at least two years’ experience of administering Windows Server 2008 R2/2012
  • a minimum of two years’ experience of working with Active Directory Domain Services
  • two, or more, years’ experience of name resolution (including DNS)
  • experience working with certificates (including PKI certificates).
