Knight Frank is a large global property partnership, operating in 60 countries. Knight Frank is an estate agency, residential and commercial property consultancy, founded in London by John Knight, Howard Frank and William Rutley in 1896. Although an international business, this project focused purely on the UK offices.
Knight Frank, global estate agency, residential and commercial property consultancy was looking to update their hardware and software across 85 offices in the UK. With many users to provide for, it was important they looked after every staff member, as well as unboxing and providing recycling services.
Total Computers provided a complete start-to-finish implementation of new hardware and software. With a smooth rollout to 84 sites, from 39 London branches and 45 offices outside London from Exeter to Aberdeen, there were many users to set up.
Total removed old desktops and monitors from users' desks and installed the new equipment while the users were in training. Kathleen Stubbs, Partner, Head of Service Delivery & Infrastructure commented, "I know in other organisations they take your laptop off you in the morning, and you have it back at the end of the day. Our users were turned around in 60 minutes.
They went to a training session for 60 minutes and returned to the desk and the new equipment was installed for them. An engineer sat next to them and checked all access points."
After rolling out the new hardware and software to all users in the 84 offices, every user was looked after and ensured they had a smooth transition to the new software.
Kathleen Stubbs also went on to say, “It was a very important decision to work with Total, as we wanted our employees to have a great experience in the process. Each individual had care taken. We surveyed every user we deployed this to and 81% of the staff said they were extremely satisfied.

Being so client focussed, Knight Frank needed effective and reliable technology deployed to their staff.
Technology is pivotal in delivering our services. The equipment we were looking at needed to meet certain criteria. It was very important our staff had a seamless experience when they turned the computer on, and they were able to turn their laptop into a tablet.

Every step of the way Total has helped us select devices, reviewing them and ensuring the deployment of Windows 10 was there before delivery to the site.
They assisted with the unboxing and installation. It was a complex process because we had so many pieces of the puzzle we had to put together to get one day's work of delivery in.
Total managed to deploy Windows 10 and Office 2013 to all users. Assisting every user from start to finish, our engineers made sure everyone was trained and connected to the new service. Overall, it was a smooth and easy transition that enabled all of Knight Franks 84 offices to have a new desktop estate.
