Mick George, the construction service provider, needed to transform their IT. Relying on an internal service wasn't working for their IT team and was taking time away from other aspects of the business.

Johnathan Stump, Joint CEO commented, "We want to focus on what we do as a business, and we need a high level of experience and knowledge-based individuals to be able to support and advise on what we need to be doing."


Total initially took Mick George's service off-site. Jonathan also commented, "That was the smartest thing we ever did and the best thing we ever did". We also implemented security practices for data processing.

Total Computers also took their IT support off-site and now support them with 1st and 2nd line engineers. This has allowed their own IT team to focus on what matters and allowed us to deal with hardware and software issues.


Jonathan commented "We now get 7-day coverage from 6 in the morning until 7 at night, which for our business is absolutely massive. We would much rather have our internal IT team working with the people within the business rather than always having to deal with problems.

We have gone through a renewal about 12 months ago. You've still got to benchmark and we did the same again and Total came out head and shoulders both on service and commitment and price."

Mick George has doubled in size since working with Total. Going forward Mick George also want to develop a virtual CIO in the near future.
